TUDOR creates a Pelagos specially for cycling enthusiasts.

Professional cycling&rsquo;s extreme endurance and precision demands has given birth to TUDOR's new Pelagos FXD Chronograph. Crafted for the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team, it features a carbon composite case for lightweight durability and titanium elements for robustness, perfect for the sport's rigours. Designed with cyclists in mind, this model is equipped with a high-performance movement and reflects the daring spirit of a team competing in the world's toughest races, including the Giro d&rsquo;Italia from 2024. The "Cycling Edition" chronograph is not just durable but also highly functional. Its tachymeter scale, spiralled around the dial, is calibrated for cyclists' average speeds, allowing riders to read their speeds at a glance.
For clarity, a matt black dial with red accents has been fitted to the watch. This theme echoes the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team colours. The markers and signature hands are crafted from luminescent ceramic composite, ensuring optimal legibility in challenging conditions. Additionally, the dial's circumference includes a 45&deg;-angled rehaut with a recalibrated tachymeter scale, focusing on the speeds cyclists can achieves.

The TUDOR Manufacture Calibre MT5813, powering the Pelagos FXD Chrono, offers hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, and date functions. Characterised by the matt finish typical of TUDOR Manufacture Calibres, it features a signature tungsten openwork monobloc rotor. With a practical 70-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring, the COSC-certified MT5813 exceeds the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute's standards. This high-performance movement, crafted with a column wheel mechanism and vertical clutch, exemplifies traditional watchmaking.
TUDOR's one-piece fabric strap, is woven in France on 19th-century Jacquard looms by the Julien Faure company in the St-Etienne region. For this model, TUDOR and Julien Faure developed a highly technical strap construction. Made from solid black jacquard-woven technical fabric with a traditional buckle, it is perfect for the wrists of cyclists and those participating in other active pursuits.
